Dinh Vu Industrial Zone

On 18 May 2007, the Haiphong Export Processing and Industrial Zone granted Investment License to the Dinh Vu Steel Mill for the cast iron project, in witness of H.E. Trinh Quang Su, Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee.

The project will be funded with a US$ 37 million budget on an area of 73,600 square meters in Dinh Vu Industrial Zone. Once complete, the plant shall put out 242,000 tons of cast iron annually. It is expected that equipment installation and technology transferring shall be made in July this year and the construction shall start one month afterwards.

The factory shall be operational in August 2008 and supply to the existing steel billet mill alongside, helping this mill upgrade its output from 200,000 ton/year to 340,000 ton/year.

This is the third expansion made by Ptramesco in the DVIZ to stronger its built foundation.
