On 11 June 2007, the Emerson Electric's delegation led by Mr David Farr - Chairman and CEO, visited DVIZ for the final selection of a suitable location for an electric tool Plant. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Mr Duong Anh Dien - Deputy Secretary of Haiphong Party Committee and Leaders of Dinh Vu Industrial Zone.

Emerson is a large Group of 500 corporations in the US, 270 manufacturing locations worldwide and 128,000 employees. Emerson is particularly interested in DVIZ for its strong advantage of port accessibility which will facilitate import & export operation.
