Having awarded as a successful developer of Thach Khe Steel Complex in Ha Tinh Province, Tata Steel decided to carry out an additional Feasibility Study for 200 ha hot strip & cold rolling products plant in Vietnam on condition that the potential location has direct port access. The project team shortlisted DVIZ for its availableport terminal,power and water at huge capacity. The project team has paid second a visit to DVIZ on 11 July 2007 to figure out the best site before the end of the year. The plant shall be the biggest ever plant of 3 million tons per year in Vietnam when it goes into operation after 2.5 years of constrcuction.

A legal framework between DVIZ and the group has been formed for information exchange and further cooperation.
