Dinh Vu Industrial Zone was honored to welcome Keidanren delegation from Japan on 27 July 2013. This is part of the visit of the delegation to Vietnam for participation in the seminar organized between Keidanren and Ministry of Investment and Planning, meeting of Common Initiative Vietnam – Japan Phase V and Haiphong project survey on the occasion of 40th anniversary relationship between Japan and Vietnam.
KEIDANREN (Japan Business Federation) is a comprehensive economic organization with a membership comprised of 1,300 representative companies of Japan, 121 nationwide industrial associations and 47 regional economic organizations (as of July 1, 2013).
Their mission as a comprehensive economic organization is to draw upon the vitality of corporations, individuals and local communities to support corporate activities which contribute to the self-sustaining development of the Japanese economy and improvement in the quality of life for the Japanese people.
The delegation visited Nakashima propeller plant which is the first Japanese project in the zone and other major Japanese projects to exchange on doing business in Vietnam and Haiphong.
The Delegation also shows interest in operational ports in DVIZ, as well as Lach Huyen deep sea port of 80,000 dwt, which is 30 km away from DVIZ
Dinh Vu Industrial Zone is proud to be the destination of manufacturing site of 10 Japanese clients and expects to welcome more investors from Japan to stronger Japanese community in the Zone.
